Album finally here!
Two new festival dates announced
Chris will now be playing at the Big Session festival 2012 (15th – 17th June), Catton Hall, South Derbyshire. Chris will play solo sets on the River stage at 5.45 on Friday the 15th and then the bar stage on Saturday the 16th. Also Chris will be making a return to Broadstairs Folk Week (10th – 17th August) beginning with a support slot for Breabach at the opening night Marquee Concert on Friday the 10th at 8pm.

Heirlooms
Heirlooms is Chris’s album debut, out early spring on the Wild Goose label. In addition to showcasing his vocal and guitar styles he also plays harmonium and piano on several tracks.
Chris is supported by some of the finest instrumentalists on the British Folk Scene, including BBC 2012 Folk Awards nominee Jackie Oates on fiddle, (Jackie also sings on The Bay of Biscay and Streams of Lovely Nancy), Bellowhead’s Pete Flood on percussion, Vicki Swan (double bass and nyckelharpa), Jonny Dyer (accordian), Issy Emeny (melodeon), and Keith Kendrick (concertina).

Chris will be in the studio with renowned concertina player Keith Kendrick and Bellowhead percussionist Pete Flood over the next month or so, putting the finishing touches to the album.
